Two shots taken with 35mm Rollei Pan F 25. Scanned 1400% and
merged in Aperture. I have never been one to do to much alteration. (I
need to make money!) Just a quick mention that the steel bunker door was
processed in Caffenol STD.
Thanks,
Dave

The best thing about a photo of a place that is special to you is when you can capture what is special about the place to you in an image, then impart that feeling to those that view it. In that you have succeeded with this image. I feel the hint of a coming winter as shown with the autumn color, and exemplified by the wood smoke permeating the air in the lower valleys. The air was doubtlessly as crisp as your DOF, and a sharp image from near to far hardens that sharp edge of cold.
Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

On my way to set up some medium format cameras at a cool location
near Moab, I set my G10 on a rock with the selftimer set. Aperture
mode, post process was a bit of Tony Kuypers, Smart Glow, and Cloud
Sharpen.

Great shot, great place to be shooting. I would likely go total grayscale on this and jack up the brightness a squige? The option that the other fellow provided looks pretty traditional but for some reason even though likely reality the Green ice does not set right with me.
I really like this image.
