    If you happen in Vancouver, Richmond, Canada... remember never find the person call Jodine at Nikon Richmond service, extremely bad customer service!</p>

    like you said, some Nikon dealers know nothing about technical issues.<br>

    and yes, I always put the hood on when I used and in the bag (hood reverse though)<br>

    I think I have to be more careful to use this lens.<br>

    I will keep trying to contact another Nikon repair center, and hoping it will be solved soon.<br>
