Crop or no crop what really gets me upset about the POW discussion is someone always has to try and hi-jack the thread by posting some obnoxious picture they have taken. My suggestion is the moderator should kill those posts immediately. They bring NOTHING to the discussion except useless self-gratification.

To everyone talking about sharpness (or lack thereof)...did any of you read the techincal details of this posting...particularly where the phtographer says..."I must apologize for the scan quality. Just a flatbed with transparency adapter. The original slide is TACK sharp!"
This is a 528x798 pixel jpeg; exactly how sharp would you expect it to be anyway????

If you look at the lectern in the photo, and the confessional booth, the people appear to be way out of scale. Were they added digitally? Having been there many a time, the scale just looks off as well.

don't like the blurry bus. for me it either needs to be in focus, or blurrier. as is just doesn't eork
-
needs to be cropped, too much green
-
all thr dark on the right is a little disconcerting, might try and dodge her face a little to bring out some more detail
-
photo too big. please see photo.net size requirements/suggestions. shouldn't something be in focus?
-
nice shot. lots of mood
-
what shutter speed did you use to stop their wings?
-
nice graphical shot. too bad it's in shadow. could you go back when they're in sunlight?
-
a little underexposed maybe?
-
way too underexposed
-
too big. exceeds photo.net size suggestions/requirements. difficult to rate unless you can see it all at one time

-
please pay attention to photo.net requirements...maximum size 800 pixels largest diameter
-
too much boring foreground. colors way too muted
-
-
i'd crop some of the sky out
-
-
might have been better with a closer shot focusing in on a couple of flowers, and an out-of-focus background
-
i think would be better with some of the grass in the foreground cropped out
-
too big. suggested is no more than 800 pixels largest dimension.
-
not enough contrast, i'd try a higher grade paper, or a higher filter. i'd also crop some of the sky.
p.s. picture too big. photo.net suggest maximum size of 800 pixels

nice shot
