Hey Michael, thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate that man. The name of the song is "Beyond." And, it's by a composer named William Joseph. Google him, he's great...

I actually still consider the Canon AE-1 one of the best cameras ever. You can easily find one on ebay or craigslist. They usually come with a 50mm 1.8 lens.

Have you guys checked this out yet: http://www.alienskin.com/bokeh/ ?? I was really impressed when I looked throught the demo. I've seen some very bad attempts in the past of people trying to digitally manipulate the bokeh in their images, but this software is unlike any other. I was especially impressed with the tiltshift features on it, as I do own a tiltshift lens. I think it's a smart investment if you're can't/aren't willing to purchase faster lenses at the moment.

I've heard that the Westcott's Mini Apollo is great, I'm actually planning on getting one soon. No speedrings necessary either.

Hey there,
I've had this lens for years, and I absolutely love it. It's perfect for architecture. And no, it's not soft. It's sharp, especially when compared to similar lenses by Canon and other brands.

The 1.4 is slightly sharper than the 1.8... But overall use is not that significantly different. The 1.4 is sharp wide open, and 1.8 is a bit soft. But, both are great lenses. A little "secret," - the 1.8 is sharper than some of the L glass lenses at F2.8 :)

I just got the iPad 3G, and I gotta say, it is a must have for any photographer. Whether you travel frequently or not, it's the perfect addition. I've had the opportunity to use it while meeting with clients and they seem to be thoroughly impressed with it. It displays images so beautifully and really brings photos to life.
