<p>Hi, I recently bought one of these Summicron-R 90mm's with the 2-piece "collapsible drinking cup" hood. I've fallen in love with this lens and the images it produces, but I'm having a hard time finding a step-up ring that fits. I've tried a 54mm and 55mm thread, but neither quite fits.<br>

Does anyone know if it's even possible to use a step-up ring with this lens?</p>

<p>Hi, I'm a film and video Director/DP that's recently gotten back into still photography as well. I bought a 5D Mark II last April for my video work, but actually using this DSLR for it's intended purpose has rekindled my passion for stills. It really is the best of both worlds...<br>
