Hi
I recently bought a used F3 from a professional photostore. Unfortunately if I advance the film leveler the shutter releases without pushing the button. Is this a setting I'm not a aware of or is it broken? Actually it did work for half of the roll, but I don't remember to have set anything differently, but maybe accidentally.
Cheers,

Thanks.

Do F3, F3HP, F3/T come with split-image screens?
Cheers,

I have read good things about Pentax 645 now. Three questions remain:
- Will the two later Pentax 645 models allow for manual focusing as well and are they operatable without a batterie?
- Will the original manual model provide a split image screen?
- What are the benefits of 645NII over 645N?
Cheers

Lighter than my Hasselblad 500c/m, not Pentax 67.
The Pentacon is really slightly lighter: http://www.pentaconsix.com/TheCameras.htm (weight at the bottom) and the body is more portable.
The Mamiya 330 is heavier, it's about 2kg. Maybe I should definitely look at 6x4.5 cameras or go with the communist.

I'd like to read about medium format cameras that are good for shooting portrait stuff. Most likely in 6x7 (but I guess there isn't any apart from the heavy pentax67).
I have a 500c/m with 80mm and it should be lighter than that. The Pentacon Six TL (right, also 6x6) isn't from what I read.

Thanks. Will put the F3 HP on my list (don't want to buy into new lenses anyway). Definitely liked what I saw from the body.

Has the K-1000 a split-image mattescreen?

-

Pentax K1000 hasn't a split-frame image mattescreen from what I read, is this true? Also: Would the winder issue be different from the Nikon?

Which cameras, also from other manufacturers, are similar than my FM2? The thing that's a bit unsettling is the film advance crank, cause I have to focus with my left eye and it's lying on my right eye all the time.

Thanks a lot for the responses. That Donke looks like a fit.

Hello
I'm looking for a camerabag that fits only my Nikon FM2 and attached 50mm to put it in a bag. Run and go. At which ones should I have a look at?
Cheers

It's also a question about how do you intend to focus.

-

Bigger difference than I thought.
David, which matte screen cameras would that be?

-

I wonder if there is a website which compares weights of camera systems with a standard lens attached.
Maybe someone can tell me about the weight difference among Mamiya RB / RZ and Fuji G680 III. I'm currently shooting with a Hasselblad 500 c/m but like to inform myself about 6x7 and 6x8 systems.

-

I have the 500 c/m. My lens is a 80mm CF lens, so no self-timer on it.
Apropos windups, someone in another forum posted this link from a camera-museum, it would be in the way of the lens, but maybe with a cable release attached.
Or maybe a 201F-Body then.

-

Would be on the image, but do you've got a link?

-

Is there some kind of a selftimer for Hasselblads?

-

I see what you mean now. My Hasselblad got a 3/8-thread. So my two options basically would be
Arca-Swiss Monoball Z1 single pan with 3/8 364.95$
B2-Pro/L: 80mm clamp with dual mount 87$
RRS B22 plate with a 3/8-16 screw 55$

or

Arca-Swiss Monoball Z1 single pan with Quick Release 389.95$
RRS B22 plate with a 3/8-16 screw 55$

I have no plate at all so far, so why couldn't the Hasselblad use the one from Gitzo?

So your recommendation would be:
- Arca-Swiss Monoball Z1 sp (Single Pan) Ballhead with 3/8" Screw or 1/4"?
- RRS B22: Multipurpose Fore-Aft with 3/8-16
- RRS screw-clamp (which one?)

What do you guys think about Gitzos Traveler center ball (GH2781TQR) ?

-

Yes, a ballhead I mean.

-

Hi
I'd like to buy my first and last center ball for my 501 c/m. Which one would you recommend me?
Cheers
