What do you think about this one? Opinions are very welcome.

Norbert J., Gaetano C. and Alex F., thank you very much for your comments.

Thank you for leaving comments. What I like most about it, besides the color and textures, is the reflection of the statue in the top right windows. Unfortunately it is not as obvious as I would have wanted.

Thanks again for comments. I also think the picture is a bit flat, but that's the "effect" of the digital camera. You'll see the difference when I get a better one. Matt, you asked about the foot. I tried to keep everything important in the frame, and the foot indeed touches it (but I don't think there's any missing part). I couldn't extend the frame because there were a lot of people to the left (after all, the metropolitan is a pretty busy museum and it took some patience to find a good position and make it look otherwise). In my opinion, including anything else would have ruined the stillness of the picture. It wouldn't be as funny, would it?

I would like to get some feedback on this one... To me, this is a
very meaningful pic., but maybe it's just because I was there and I
know what I wanted to catch on film. Comments are very much
appreciated.

you did a good job in making the subject different. At least from what I've seen before, this is unique in the way you framed the stairs (the space around), the way you made it abstract (could be a window from what I see here, or simply a decoration, but it can easily distance itself from the label of "stairs" or "spiral"). Also visually great.

Thank you for leaving comments, and for your enthusiasm. The funny thing is that this is not my favorite picture, but it drew the best comments. Ian, I checked out your folder some time ago, and if this is what you think about this pic, then there are no words for some of yours. Several of them are up there, where I hope to reach someday. It was great seeing them.

I appreciate the time you took to leave comments. Bill, this is exactly why I myself like this photo: it's a common gesture (and not too appealing either), but in describing a relationship it is as natural and "real" as it gets. Ollen, this is the downside of taking pics in central park. Even if I waited the whole day, more than one boat would have been there. As for the line, I know , it's distracting. But then moving them around wasn't a choice. Thanks again.

I really like the atmosphere. (And I think it should have been rated higher.)
