    Iryna

          1

First shoot with Iryna and even though she's turning 35 tomorrow, it

was her first shoot ever! Took awhile before she started feeling

comfortable in front of the camera and we're already planning our next

    session. Hope you like it.

  1. Why do you keep deleting your photos after receiving comments and advice about them and then reposting them?  Without having the prior versions to look at, as far as I can see, this one is identical.  This is now at least the third version of this photo you've posted.

And your composite work (particularly the extraction in the hair and at the top) is really very sloppy.

This is an older image that I came across while searching for

something else, and I realize I never posted it anywhere. Funny, as

it was one of my favorite shots of Jordan (and I posted two others

    here earlier).

Hope you like it. Thanks for any comments/critiques.

  2. I wanted to capture the search light so increased the ISO and

shortened the shutter speed. I was doing a series of images, mostly

about 3.5 seconds exposures at ISO200 which I was going to stitch

together into a panoramic image but with those the search light just

didn't work. So this is a single image, done mainly to get that

light. My pano is really quite good (says me!) but it just doesn't

show the light as I wanted.

Since you liked the other photo of Nikki I posted (Animal Magnetism) I

thought I'd share this one from my archives. Not as powerful (I

think) as the other one, but I hope you like it.

I've been back and forth between your three versions of this shot and must say that this one is my favorite.  (And so far my favorite of ALL your shots.)  I love the lighting, the cropping, the pose but most of all the look in Edith's eyes.  You're a lucky man indeed to have such an incredible subject to work with.  And she looks totally at ease in front of your lens.

Simply gorgeous!  I love it!  I love the light and the moody feeling the dark background gives.  The shallow DOF is a style I too favor and it works really well here.

I've worked with this wonderful lady three times over 6 years and I

hope to have further chances. This shot is from our most-recent

session and it was a bit out of the ordinary for both of us.

    Hope you like it!

For some reason I keep coming back to this shot and viewing it over and over.  I really like it!  Love the model, the look and the lighting.  I agree with John Peri that it really should be up to the author how an image is cropped and I like the original more than the vertical cropping.  As someone else suggested, perhaps a square crop would work here, but I leave that up to the author.
