<p>i just got a yashica t2d, and i think something may be weird with it. its got a dark lens cover that slides away manually if you move it, but looks too dark to shoot through normally. is it supposed to be moved away by the camera or stay in place?</p>

<p>I'm looking for a camera to be able to carry everywhere. Something cheap is great, doesnt need to have good quality - in fact, if it had a unique, (typically) undesirable flaw, it might work for me. It just MUST have a wide lens on it - 20-35mm. I was thinking about trying to get a Leica copy and a wide Russian pancake lens, but if I dont have to spend that much it would be great.</p>

<p>I'm new to the board here, and have been reading for some time. This is my usual go-to for questions, but couldn't find anything on this one.</p>

<p>I currently shoot with a D80 and N80, and recently, I've been doing a lot of concerts, events, and amateur photojournalism. I have used the kit lens (18-55 f/3.5-5.6 VR) on the N80, but its no where near useable in a real situation.</p>

<p>I'm going to be upgrading the lens on the D80 to the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8, and want to get something wide for the N80 as well. Is there something that will work well for both cameras int he 18ish (16, 17, 19 etc) to 50ish (or 55) range? Or am I better off getting the Sigma and finding a dedicated lens (like a used 19-35 or 24-70 from KEH) for the N80?</p>
