Again this is just my opinion, but it's not going to be a pleasant one.

I inherently hate automatic photoshop filters. Initially, those who just start out in photography or photo editing really like the automatic application and how a couple clicks can produce interesting and new effects. I'm guilty of this as well. To me, however, this image has no cohesion and looks more like an abstract painting instead of a photo.

If I were going to redo this photo, I would make it a b/w image.

I don't know about your photo description; I rather like capturing the entire room. It's a nice environmental-type of shot - you know, more like photojournalism. If you were to zoom in on the stir-frying, it would look more like an ad for FoodTV or the like. Nothing wrong with that, I'm just saying.

I like this style of photography. Solid image.
