It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and the Jekyll Island Club has
taken steps to get the emotions stirred. This was taken the day after the
official lighting ceremony.
All comments are welcome. Happy Holidays.

Windsor Ruins is located near Alcorn, MS. The house was completed
in 1861 after several difficult years of construction. One year later, the
owner passed away. The house stood until ravaged by fire in1890.
It was the size of these pillars and its' design which intrigued me.

We recently explored a portion of swamp in the Jean Lafitt Nat'l
Historical Park in South Louisiana. It was a real surprise as to how
much beauty there is there.

Spring has been slow to come to Western Montana but I was able to
get out and find this barn while exploring for new photos. Although it
is in a need of repairs, I find it depicts the strength and resolve of
those who built it.
All comment are most welcome. Thanks for looking.

I captured this shot during a trip to New Orleans in June 2010. The
Mississippi River is an amazing locale and I really liked the contrast
between the stormy clouds, the muddy water, and the wooden dock.
Thanks for looking. Your comments are always welcome.

These two goats were amazingly unafraid of humans.

A morning visit to the local Farmers Market allowed me to find this
colorful selection of flowers.

Stunning photo! The color and contrast are beautiful. Having travelled through Canada myself, I think the places you find yourself are so inspiring. Your photos show that inspiration and inherent beauty. Thanks for sharing.

During an exploratory trip this past weekend I stumbled onto this log
structure sitting in snow. The mid-morning sun wasn't the best lighting
but I really liked the scene. Although I usually don't center the subject, I
wanted to get as much of the snow-caps in the background. It had been
a cold ride via motorcycle but worth it I think.
Your comments are always welcome. Thanks for looking.

I spotted this cabin while riding on a Spring 2010 day and felt the cabin
and backdrop were excellent. I appreciate your comments and critique.
