My tool as a photographer and the tools of my father.
I like to think this can be not only a self-portrait but also a portrait of him
in the way he arranged the tools to his craft.

Opinions deeply appreciated.

Thanks for the comment. I haven't look at it that way as for the out of focus part which is a wheelbarrow. I wanted it to be an important part in order to resonate with the feel of the bike. But only now I see it doesn't work because it is out of focus. I will try to reshoot with a tripod for depth of field.

My goal with this one was to try to depurate the composition to the
maximum. The two visible eucalyptus were being gently lit by a late
afternoon light and their bright bark reflecting much more than the
shadowed pine tree forest on the background. So I reinforced that contrast
in post processing as a way to convey a metaphor for how this species can
be overwhelming and destructive (the barren soil) to non native habitats.
Well, that's too much for an explanation, what I really care is if it works as
a photograph and that I'm not so sure. Feedback much appreciated.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. That makes me want to submit this version for rating to see what the reaction would be.

Thanks for your feedback. As for the direction of the cow's look, I had a few with her looking at the valley but with totally different compositions that I didn't like. I'll post the best of those to see what you guys think.
