  2. <p>Personally I think RAW is sometimes overrated, but maybe that's because I've been shooting with a Fuji S5Pro, which has great out-of-camera JPEGs. RAW is great when you've made a big mistake with the exposure, but it's so time consuming! I've found Raw Therapee to be far the best free RAW software. Commercially there's <a href="http://www.photosoftwarenews.com/RAW_Conversion/BibblePro.html">Bibble Pro</a>, which is great but a bit pricey because it's another workflow tool like Lightroom. And DxO Optics Pro is terrific value, with some wonderful processing tools not found in other software.</p>
  3. <p>Alan, I'm in agreement with Tom on this one. Plug-ins really do add value to your image editor, especially if you're using a relatively low-cost host like Adobe Elements or Paint Shop Pro Photo X2.<br>
