I haven't tryed stitching but I wan't to; I've been shown a very usefull technique whereby you use a tilt-shift lense portrait way up and shift it along from the same position 3 times ie. left middle and right and then you can achieve a seemless stitch and a huge digital file to work with. The only troulble is I don't have a tilt-shift lens :(
Yes i'm shooting full-frame for a landscape project I'm doing using a Nikon D3X (not mine, i'm a student and rent it out for free from uni) I just need a wide angle tilt-shift lens.

  2.
This may seem like a strange question...
Does anyone know how to achieve that large format colour feel from a dslr file in post processing/photoshop? I really like the look of large format colour work and am desperate to achieve a similar kind of look from my digital files, any help would be much appreciated.

  3.
Scott: My current lens' are, ef-s 17-55mm 2.8 (which obviously i would have to sell), EF 70-200mm 4 is, and EF 50mm 1.4. I am currently doing a photojournalism degree with the view to pursuing a career as a press photographer, so I mainly only display my images on screen, but I do sometimes like to print.

  4.
I currently have a canon 7D, which is a great camera but at some point I will be looking at upgrading to full-frame. At this point I could sell my 7D and be able to afford a 1Ds Mark II (used), my question is; how much of a better camera would I be getting over my current 7D?

  5.
I want to get a wide angle lens for my 7D which also performs well in low light, after a bit of research the 2 best options seem to be the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L and the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8PRO. So I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of these lenses, as I haven’t yet tried out either of them. Also is the much higher cost of the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L worth it?

  6.
Just a quick question. Has anyone got any experience of buying used equipment from the London Camera Exchange?, as I've got my eye on a particular lens which is available at a very good price, i was just wondering what they are like to deal with? i.e. are they helpfull if you need to send an item back for refund etc.

  7.
Thanks Nadine, looking through your photos they are high quality shots, and i'm greatfull for your response. Other than gear, have you got any general advice/tips on shooting a wedding? would be much appreciated.

  8.
I have been asked to photograph a wedding, this will be my first wedding. I have a canon 7D, 17-55mm f/2.8 lens, and a 580 speedlite. I am also willing to hire another lens (possibly an L prime). My question, to people who have experience of shooting weddings, is what would be the right lens to hire?

  9.
My current setup is a 7D and 17-55mmIS lens, and for my next investment i want to get a quality longer focal length zoom i was looking into the 70-200, but i was wondering what people think of the 28-300. Plus': it's more versatile and would mean i wouldn't have to change lenses as much for close up or wider shots. So does anyone have any experience of using this lens, and if so what's it like?

  10.
I'm studying photojournalism, and currently enjoy shooting demonstrations and protests among other things, I know the F4IS will be good in these situations (with plenty of light). But could i getaway with shooting at F4 when covering low light sport events? I guess that's the dilema.
