Beautiful image. The simplicity is exquisite and composition of the 4 stacked cranes and the warm glowing orb is very pleasing to the eyes. I like how faint traces of trees are left at the bottom giving it a little more tone.

The grey gloom of stormy days had been lingering for some time until, with

the light of the morning, the wind ceased and the clouds separated for a

brief moment before the wind returned and two feet of snow filled the

valley. Thanks for looking.

What a spectacular photo Marc! Although I am sure it doesn't fully capture the essence of such a remarkable place, it certainly comes close. The lighting is surreal and the composition of gnarly, cluttered growth and calm, stagnant water almost brings the sense of peace and musky smells through the screen of my computer. One thing that caught my eye was the burning around the foliage in the lower left corner. Seems too dark around the edges. Ace of a capture!

Having been to Laguna Colorada, this image captures the brilliant colors of the volcanic landscape in the Atacama/Salar de Uyuni region very well. The snow in the foreground is a nice reminder of the -25C nights and you have included all the elements of this landscape without cluttering the composition. Thanks for sharing.

This is awesome! The sunlit snowy peak amongst the deep frozen blues warms my chilly bones with a sense of hope.

Just creeped your entire gallery but couldn't let myself leave without mentioning how nice these landscape photographs are. This structure is incredible. I like how your composition emphasizes the empty environment in which it is found but the empty environment itself is actually full of layers. NICE.

I think the black space works extremely well with this image. It gives it a calm, desolate feeling while emphasizing your wife walking into the horizon. Curiosity overwhelms me as I continue to look into this image.
