1.
These lovely flowers have been blooming on my property, I'm new to Nature photography and I intend to learn a lot more. I couldn't resist shooting yesterday with the gentle rain drops

Thanks!

 2.
Hi I have some other points to make if they weren't made already. I use a sit on top Native kayak for fishing duck hunting and photography. It's very stable and easy to handle.
Anyone that has fallen out of a kayak will tell you that a Sit inside is more difficult than a SOT. You may need a paddle float and a few practice events to get the hang of it.

I have had both and I only use the SOT. Plus it's a fishing model so it has much more storage and little compartments.

Good luck!
3.
HI guys Im pretty new to lightroom. I have LR3 and I love it! Im also just learning about HDR. I plan on practicing using the technique for overall exposure balance in my photos only, not for artsy stuff. So question:

I noticed lightroom 3 can easily change the exposure of my raw files. So, why should I bother shooting bracketed shots when I can just "create" two other exposure settings in the software?
Or am I being a silly digital rookie?

I also learned on this forum why the LR capture does not match the lcd camera preview. So if I choose to shoot brackets should I set the camera to raw+jpeg? Now I have six files to manage?
thanks

also sry if this topic came up before I did do a search.

 4.
I was at a Lik gallery in Vegas last month. His work is at the Palazzo hotel next to the Vebnetian. I just happend to be there for a vaca.
Really nice impressive stuff. I saw some of the shots from his episodes, looks even better in person printed. That being said,
I agree with Lupo, I think he could have whipped out that mamyia. You can't tell me he did not bring it in that big backpack of his. lol
Television is for entertainment purposes.
I do love his show though.

 5.
HI, I'm new here but not new entirely lol.
I have used that system shooting wedding like a lot of pro folks have,
I have found in the past that when you are loading the film I use a finger as a "brake" as I first wind it on the spool. This removes most of the slack. It's tough to explain. Just try to not allow ANY slack when loading it. Even tightening the film itself. on't be afaid to give it a good tug.
That being said, you could have a well used sloppy back. I used to get mine se4viced every two seasons.
If you do this and you end up with multiple backs, have the service guy "notch" them. this way in the negs you will know which back is giving you problems. Don't ask me how I found this out the hard way.
Bronicas are great cameras that just need a little serice once in a while. Plus they are very cheap on the internet know which is great fpr folks like you who want to get into med. format.

 6.
I myself use a Bronica sq system I used to do weddings which is why I still have them and I now just do landscapes, wildlife ect ect. (Enjoy it much more lol)
Each year I decide to get a different format for landscapes but I end up not doing it. I really enjoy my bronicas and would certainly never sell them. Especially with the market prices for them!
Yes they are square but who cares, I actually enjoy square pics in the outdoors. It's something that is difficut to obtain with other formats except 6x7. But for interchangable backs it's a much lighter system than many 6x7 systems.
I recommend this system if you don't mind cropping and "losing" some image. I also think it can be bought very cheap, backs and lenses are interchangeable and they are bullet proof. I never had a problem whith them shooting weddings or banging them around outside.
