<p>Everyone says the same thing.(less equipment) Ralph doesn't seem to hear or care. The wedding isn't about you. The less intrusive you are the better. I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times. "There are no perfect shots, only perfect moments." Be courteous, upbeat. If the bride and groom have fun, like you and you are a halfway decent photographer, they will love your images. Concentrate more on the do's and don't of posing, lighting and making the bride look her best. Be in control. You are the expert. </p>

<p>Seems like we are always in a hurry to take legal action. I believe there is some over reaction by both parties here. It's your mom. Leverage your mom to get the rights to your images. At least you currently have the images and you didn't say that you were dissatisfied with the work. I would use the images as I saw fit and if your mom just stood by and let it happen, then it was worth it to find out the truth about where you stand. If your mom defended you and broke up with him, then it was worth it to get rid of him. Win/win. You still have your husband and all the wonderful memories to come.</p>

<p>Ellis, "Whoever gave you that bit of advice didn't know enough to the "expert" they were pretending to be" it seems like the person that said it was an expert and I did hear him say 1 stop in the video. I don't know you and you don't know me. It's guys like you that makes people prefer not to participate in these forums. </p>

<p>To get a white background, meter the flash hitting the background to be 1 stop brighter than the key light on your subject.</p>

<p>I am still regretting not jumping on the D600 December deals and was wondering if anyone has ever been to an expo and if there were any deals to be found there. I was thinking of going to Imagingusa expo in Atlanta this weekend to see what it was all about.<br>

<p>Thanks for all the responses. I will send it on to Nikon for an estimate. I probably need to send my D7000 along with it also. I have an sb600, 800 and 910 that fires randomly with the camera just hanging on my side. From what I've read on some forums it seems like a hot shoe replacement is necessary. Anyone here ever had this issue with any other nikons having this problem and what was the outcome?</p>

<p>Can someone tell me which part of the camera this is that fell down and an approximate cost to repair. Was taking images and this black strip just started appearing in the images and noticed that strip in mirror lockup. Is it even worth repairing or should I just get another used d90?<br>
