Very cute. The blue of the door is nice contrast to light color of the building. Position and face of cat makes the photo. Nice. I am an easy sell for cat photos ;?)

Most impressive. Can never figure out how folks manage to get so close without scaring off little critters like this. Excellent.
-
Good timing. Often the most difficult part of photographing animals (at least for me).

I really like the juxta-position (spelling ?) of the cat and dog in position and attitude that I percieve when looking at this picture. Cat seems pissed off, dog seems to me to be saying something like "Come on Frank lets play with this ball, what do you say?" Comes off really cute.

This picture was taken by wife on a recent trip to New Orleans with
my T-4 Super. I really like this picture because of the range of
tones and the misplaced grave marker. Do you think cropping could
make this photo more powerful? Comments welcome & appreciated.

Justin

Nice photo. I have a very similar photo of my cat.

Dave,
Excellent job capturing the height and perspective of steepness. I think that is often a very tricky thing to do. I don't know of too many pictures that recreate the exhileration of actually being up a technical piece of mountain looking down from above, but this photo ranks pretty well in that regard.

You should have put nude in the title, you will get lots more views ;?)
Nice pic,

Pretty run of the mill in terms of pet snapshots, i.e. a little dark and has a distracting background. But the cat is definately beautiful (Maine Coone?) and certainly worthy of further attempts. Keep trying, cats are difficult subjects.

You may see a trend in my recently posted photos...about the only
thing I can manage to get a picture of these days is my cats (hate to
let the gear sit idle). As pet photos go what do you think? I
personally like this one since it emphasizes less the cute and cuddly
traditional side of pets. I think the chest fur might be a little
too blown out...comments or ratings appreciated.
Thanks,
Justin

I agree with bas wip. I might crop it under the topmost cloud in the frame leaving an interestingly colored sky and the surfers.
-
Very nice shot. I keep trying to get something that comes out this good....damn you! ;?0 Really a very pleasing picture.
-
Very cute dog. I like how the framing of the picture give a sense of scale to this tiny dog.

The furry look of the bee's forehead makes it much less scary than its normally resolved visage, almost like a family pet of sorts. Your patience paid off. Very nice photo.

You have chutzba my friend. Much braver than I. What would you have done had the gentleman awoken? Very nice photo.
-
Nice photo. Very original, and interesting composition. Not something for my wall, but would make an excellent ad...which is what it was for I am assuming (?).
Good work

Nice photo. I think the low clouds/fog add an interesting emotional dimension to the photo. Jealous I wasn't there to take the photo myself...gotta love the mountains.

Digitally manipulated photo of a sculpture outside the local health
clinic. The lack of facial features seem to make it easy to picture
this as an android-like figure (catch the Styxx's allusion in the
subject?).
Wondering what this photo does for people? My wife doesn't like it,
says its creepy. What do you think? You can check out the original
in my single photos folder.
Thanks,
Justin

Still trying to figure out B&W (3rd roll, 1st of TMAX 3200). This is
a portrait of my wife. Comments regarding composition and asthetics
greatly appreciated. Any words of wisdom regarding B&W also helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Justin

Mark,
You are correct regarding the Ship's Prow...my bad. After the Loft we headed over to Dream Weaver. I ended up having to take my buddy down for having Acute Mountain Sickness, while my other two pals finished her up. Beautiful landscape. Nice views from the toilet too ;?)

Any thoughts on composition and overall appeal (or lack of) of this
photo would be greatly appreciated. Help me improve my compositional
eye. Check out "The Diamond" further down for more from this trip.
Thanks in advance,
Justin

Samuel,
Thanks for the nice words. The T4-Super is just that...super. I really like it and am slowly learning to use it and my other gear a little better...as can be seen in my folder I hope. (I think I am getting better at this ?)
