Could be its focusing slightly past infinity some lenses do this.

Well I just retired from the Army. The only Glass I have left is a 300 2.8 Tamron picked up an EOS adapter works OK. But spent 20 years shooting Nikon from Fm,F3,F2,D1,D1X, D2h, D2HS, D80, in my work as a journalist. I plan on freelancing and thought that with what folks were shooting it might be an advantage for pool lenses ect. to have Canon. Last year in Afghanistan every journalist except one had made the switch to Canon. I am finding out now that relearning a system after 20 years is not the easiest thing to do. Any in reality Even my 70-210 L doesn't look as good as my nikkors.<div></div>

I had been a nikon shooter since the "F" days including D1X and D70-D80 when I

kept hearing the siren call of Canon. What a dissapointment it has been. The

photo's just don't have the same look I started with 30D 70-200L 28-135 IS and

18-55 Good thing I kept my 300 3.8 and using manual focus but even then

metering sucks and they just don't have the right look to me. Am I crazy? What

is the best way to unload and retool with Nikon again.
