<p>The adapter for the Cotton Carrier allows for tripod mounting.</p>

<p>I use a Cotton Carrier. Great when I am carrying one or 2 DLSRs. Can use hands free when necessary without cameras banging around.</p>

<p>I purchased my 7D at 42nd Street for $1375 in 2010. That was considerably less than anywhere else at the time. It came with USA warranty and registration. Was a good deal at the time.</p>

<p>If it helps, these are done with a n EF 100mm 2.8 IS on a 7D. The butterfly is at iso 3200 and in my opinion quite acceptable so light was not a great problem. Both were hand held.</p><div></div>
