I do love this image. (Not a particularly useful critical comment).
The dominant tones of the blues and whites are lovely, the yellow wonderfully highlights the more delicate filagree of the smaller bells — special lighting for a special feature. But in terms of palette, it's the stained glass windows that truly make the image work.
In terms of composition, I love the way the eye is drawn from the foreground to the background — the large and small globes echoing and finding resolution in the bells — again.
Technically, the exposure was totally nailed — even if it required some post-processing, the pixels were there to work with.
Finally, on an emotional, evocative level I find the image communicates a lovely sense of peace and tranquility. The only thing I don't like about this photo is that I didn't take it myself!
