A primeira coisa: a gente e carioca de coracao.
Afterwards, what can I say, I travel to Brazil on a monthly basis, both to SP and to RJ. This urban landscape could be found anywhere in the world: in SP, in Mexico DF, in Hong Kong... there is nothing that really says Sao Paulo here.

Cute, but doesn't go from there. The light could be a bit more dramatic, the cropping tighter. The skin tones are a bit pale.

I don't see how this picture got to be photo of the week. I have seen (and, actually, met and did a commercial with Pele for Bancomer and MasterCard in 1996) tons of much better pictures of Pele.
This photo doesn't bring any insight into the person. Pele is not only the best player ever, he is a very intelligent and shrewd businessman, a committed teacher and a warm human being (ask all the kitchen staff at the Nikko in Mexico, where he took an extra five minutes to say hi to them, leaving a bunch of bankers waiting).

The car is in beautiful condition. The picture itself is OK, but kind of standard for publications like Robb Report.

Absolutely, utterly, wow! What a beautiful photograph. So well composed, so... beautiful.

He doesn't look sad at all. Just pensive.

Now you know why make up artists charge $500 or more a day. There is a lot of natural reflections around the forehead, under the eyes, etc. Some make up might have been better.

Pretty funny

Wow. Had never seen clouds that low in the Pao de Acucar.

Great shot!

As a "carioca de coracao" I don't think it does justice to such a beautiful city; too bluish, kind of muddy.
-
Reminds me of the movie "Tron".

You're kidding right?

How funny! For a moment I wondered, "what's my picture doing there". We both took basically the same picture. What a photogenic group of islands!

A bit more saturation would be good.
-
Wow. How weird, yet attractive. Very original.
-
This is very corny

The legs were the deciding factor. Good touch!

I suppose this follows the "Blue Man Group"? Neat picture.
-
Too bad about his feet, it would have merited more based on the angle.
-
Would have been interesting, but there is no focus on the photograph itself; no central point that draws one's eye.

Very nice. Detailed, well-lit, beautiful
