I really appreciate the comments. I would have to agree with everyone, it does need a fill flash. I did not notice the telephone pole at the time and I too find it very distracting. I would like to reshoot this photo with all of your suggestions. I'll post the retake.

I see your point as to the 'center of focus.' I am going to retaking this with a narrow DOF.

I see your point about her walking into the camera, I hadn't noticed it. I'll have her walking at more of an angle next time.
