hi everybody,
I have Canon 7d and I use it for wildlife photography with 300mm,f/2.8, Now I wish to try my hand in 'Landscapes'. Do I go for lens like C 10-22 and use it with 7d or it is essential to go for a full-frame camera and lens like 17-40? The most amazing landscapes I have seen are done with full-frame camera. Thanks !

hello friends,
I have Canon 7d and Canon 300,2.8, Tamron 90mm, and Tokina 12-24 with 1.4 and 2 x converters. which of these lenses are useful in masai mara? do I need to add any more lens? thanks...

hello friends,
here is a comparison between images (both uncropped and unedited, only resized,) from these two cameras. both were shot from same distance mounted on tripod in AV mode with TAMRON 90MM macro at f/5.6, iso-200, evaluative metering , in landscape picture style and auto white balance. there is obvious difference in metering , 7d at 6 seconds while 450d at 13 seconds.what surprised me more was the magnification these two similar sensors gave. why this difference ? does anybody know? thanks.

hello,
how do you compare canon 300mm f/2.8 +canon 2x t.c. vs canon 500mm f/4 ? i know everybody will say 500mm is always better, but there are many plus points in 300mm. it is lighter, less conspicuous, more versatile, and much cheaper... and image quality with 2x t.c. suffers only in contrast and not in resolution..any opinions?
thanks in anticipation....

i use canon 400mm for bird photography. how often one needs lens with shorter focal length than this for wildlife (not only birds)? do i have to invest in such lens?

currently i use canon 400mm,5.6 and manfrotto 680B monopod ...and i find the use of monopod satisfactory. is it possible to get similar results if i add kenko pro 1.4 300 to this combination? or use of tripod is essential?
