    D7000 Viewfinder Dim?

    <p>This posting came as a relief. I just got my D7000 in the mail, the first DSLR I have purchased. The battery is charging and I have not installed it yet and also noticed the dim viewfinder. Before finding this post I was worried I may have a defective camera or just that the standard view of the viewfinder was just disappointing. Thanks to all who posted for setting my mind at ease. </p>

    <p>Thanks to all for the quick feedback. I could tell when I first stumbled upon this site the other day by reading the comments people were making on eachothers photos that this would be a great place to learn. I think by this fall I should be about ready to purchase my first DSLR, although I might now be motivated to try and be ready early since my dog just chewed up my P&S. I am cameraless other than my iPhone. :(</p>

    <p>Hey everybody. I am new to the site and an amateur when it comes to photography. I am basically here to learn and get better. I just posted my first pic to the site and I am curious if that is enough to have it get seen by some people. I am looking forward to some advice and criticism and so I want to do whatever I can to increase the views. That's about it, thanks in advance for any help. </p>
