1. Blast from the past? Does anyone want my collection of NVS-1 and Falk pieces? ! I have a lot of odds and ends of NVS-1 lighting pieces: strobes bodies, cables, strobe heads, modifiers. I used these tinkered-with super powered Vivitar 283 ' s all the time time in the 1990's, and once in a while till 2005 or so. When Jon Falk retired he sent me a carton of cables and light modifiers and different bulb heads. Some wewre early prototypes and some were just extra components. I haven't touched them in a decade and will happily send them to you (in the US----if you're elsewhere pay me the postage) .

This lighting was fabulous for location lighting in all kinds of odd situations, and easy to carry around. Or maybe you just like to tinker and these will be useful? I HATE the idea of just getting rid of them.

  2.
Thanks for all of the advice- very helpful!
Have any of you used ZookBooks? ( despite the same last name I'm not related to the company's owner. Nor to Monty). They were recommended to me by a colleague and look good- but I haven't seen their name come up in album recommendations.

  3.
I have a Tamrac Big Wheels Rolling StrongBox that meets airline carryon dimensions , looks like an average black rolling suitcase and can easily fit the items you mentioned and more (plus has a padded outer zipped pocket for a laptop).
I got it in 2003 when starting a project that required a lot of air travel, thinking I'd stick with my shoulder bags locally but ended up using it almost all the time since. It's been on dozens of flights (as well as trains & cars) and is still in great shape. Think Tank also looks good to me, neither shouts CAMERAS, Steal Me. You couldn't slash it open.
Other advantages:
-because the grid divider system keeps equipment neatly organized going through xray, I am rarely searched by hand (used to be every single flight with my shoulder bag) .
- I've found I present myself more together professionally rolling in rather than dragging big bags on my shoulder
- it saves on physical wear and tear on shoulder & back to roll the equipment

  4.
This is my first post on this forum- I'm not usually a wedding photographer, I do commercial & editorial work, and have no retail pricing structure.
An acquaintance who was married last winter in the Carribean, and has all rights to the 1800 images shot at the event, wants to hire me to edit and create a high end wedding album for her (leather, embossed, gilded edges, flush mount).
The images look really well shot so I'm ok in that department but I have no idea how to price this . Obviously I don't want to undercut anyone who offers this as part of their wedding packages, and I want to, of course, be paid well for my services.
I appreciate any thought son the pricing, and any resources for the albums!

Thanks,
