Hey Monte, this image is a stunning capture of not only the struggle, but of the emotion that can be seen in the faces of the two cormorants. Each face tells two different stories. Freezing the action down to the water droplets enhances the action. Thanks for sharing!

I love the warmth and detail of the birds plumage. I also like the positioning and angle of the bird in center with the V shape of the perch. It feels balanced. The glint adds a nice charm. Thanks for sharing!

From not far off, a curious Great Blue Heron decided to fly in toward me. He
is just about to touch down. The light was fading and I was barely able to
catch him. Shot at 1/500sec, F7.1, ISO2000 @ 300mm.

The image of the sparrow is sharp and I like the shallow DOF. The colors are great. I also like the pattern and composition.

Great timing and good capture. I don't think I have ever seen this view of a Green Heron landing.

This is a lovely image that shows emotion. Good timing and nice detail and color. I am not sure if the upload or the image conversion introduced the visible JPEG artifacting.

Thanks Grayham, for the welcome and the feedback.
I agree that the POV was higher than I would have liked. This shot was taken a few years ago with my first DSLR and I was just getting into the hobby. This was really a grab shot and I couldn't pass up the opportunity with the water lily. What troubled me about this shot was also the lighting. It was taken during the harsh part of the day and took some work.
Thanks again,
Charles

Very nice and well exposed. I love the colors. What I love most is the expression on the heron. He has his lunch all right.

I love the color in this image. The colors of the gallinule and the lily pads work well together.

I love the pattern that you captured. I like the composition. These Snow Goose are beautiful.

The second Little Blue Heron shot in a series of four. The heron was having
fun with his reflection or perhaps was curious about the stump under the
water. Constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks for your time!

This photo captures the moment perfectly. I like how the action is well frozen. The light is beautiful.
