    Working Hard

          2

I wish I had the timing perfect for the sparks, but still I really like how this one turned

out. I've never submitted anything for a contest and was wondering if any of you

thought this one may receive an honorable mention or something (not talking winning

any prizes as I have a bit more work to do obviously). Thoughts are appreciated.

    Cheers!

This is an HDR image consisting of eight images of differing exposure

times of an old bottle of water. I thought it went nicely with the rest of my

bubble shots and will play with the idea some more. Any tips or critiques

    are much appreciated. Cheers.

I love this image! I haven't quite got the hang of photographing motion but this is awesome the blurred ghostly images mixing with the colors! Love it.

Tree bark is one of the most interesting to photgraphy... Kinda like snowflakes no tree bark will have the same grooves and ridges or pit and knots. I really like this image. Great shot

I absolutely love this! The concept of climbing to the stars is great especially because the home and girl seem very humble... Like to get to greatness from real beginings and climbing your way to the stars... Not exactly sure if thats the idea you were going for but its how it struck me. Greatly composed and love the imagery
  1. This is the same shot I previously entered; this one is obviously

edited a little (as it was the same shot) all I did was zoom in and

crop a little and use the selection wand and then dodging tool over

the spider... Any tips on how to get this shot without using PS (which

is what I originally intended) let me know. This was taken using the

on board flash with my hand covering it (see the other spider shots,

they are a bit too washed out for what I was aiming for) I am thinking

some sort of softening thing (the gary fong lightsphere did not help

as the other shots were a bit too bright, I need something more opaque

    I suppose?)

Again thank you everyone for all of your feedback

  2. I was thinking the same thing viewing it on my work computer, the levels on the original  (and even on my laptopp) seemed to be much brighter but that was lost somehow... I will be attempting to fix it later on ps and will post the edited version... Hopefully the little guy will be there tonight and we can have a do over... Thank you for the pointers
