    Welcome Dance

          3

    Hi!

This picture was taken during my visit to Everglades National Park.

This wonderful creature was staring motionless for what seemed to be

forever staring back at the crowd gathered to stare at it. Then, all

of a sudden it gracefully opened its wings as if saying, 'welcome to

my domain'. It was a real treat.

Any comments and/or critique is welcome.

    Thank you!

    Hi!

This is one of the pictures I took during my visit to Everglades

National Park. On my eyes this bird literally fell of the branch it

was sitting on and emerged a second later with this fish in the beak.

After that it was posing with the fish for about 2 minutes allowing me

to take this shot. Any critique and/or suggestions are welcome.

    Thank you!

Thanks so much for the comment! I really appreciate it.

Actually, I like the fact that you can see me in her eye. I think it conveys the idea of the picture: they are watching us, too! :)

    Cheers!

  1. I am afraid when it comes to photography, I am only 7 months old. But even I can see that the rays are photoshopped into the image a little bit sloppy - you can see the "rays" extending beyond the seahorse, not to mention that they are way too obvious drawing... Personally, I have nothing against photoshop and using it bring your pictures to reflect your mind-eye's vision, but if you choose to do it, I guess it shouldn't be this obvious...

    Sorry!

    Hi Ben!

Absolutely wonderful shot! nice choice of B&W. Wonderfully captured attitude of those animals - it is clear who's the master of the territory!

    Congrats!
