1.
I have a Digital Concepts 952AF/SON flash unit (for Sony Alpha series). The digital display will come on and light up, and you can hear the unit "starting up". But, the flash will not go off, whether it is attempted to be fired by the camera itself or just by pressing the test button. I cannot do anything to make the bulb flash.
Is there any way to change the bulb?

 2.
I have been fighting with this issue for some time now, and am hoping someone can give some insight on how to create a professional looking watermark that is scaled to different size images.
I know how to create a watermark in photoshop, as I've done this for many photos so far. However, I often have to readjust the size of my watermark so it doesn't appear to large/small for different photos. Also, when I print my photos, the watermark sometimes appears too small and unreadable.
Does anyone have advice on how to create a SCALED watermark, that will adjust depending upon the size of my image?
Or is there software out there that will create a professional-looking watermark (much like a signature) that is scaled to fit my images?

Thanks!!

 3.
Hi everyone, thanks so much for your ideas & advice. It is a very grim situation. I can honestly say that I did not necessarily want to take this job, but felt that it was the right thing to do. And no, I most definitely will not be charging them...but nonetheless, I want these to be some great photos for them.
We are going to be outdoors, in a park type area. There are a lot of different background options...bridges, wooded areas, a beachy type area...I plan on bringing a couple of muslin backdrops too, just in case. I don't know if they are able to take her out of the wheelchair or not, but am hoping that it will be an option.
Anyways, thanks so much for the advice!!

 4.
Hi! I have a family portrait session scheduled soon, and am having a little trouble with some unique posing ideas. The family has a terminally ill 5 yr old daughter and are wanting family pictures done before she passes, for lack of a better way of putting it. The little girl is in a wheelchair, and probably will not be able to talk or smile. She will basically just be there to be photographed...does anyone have any ideas of ways to set this up? It's a very sad & strange situation, I know...any ideas would be appreciated! :)
