<p>I plan on purchasing a full frame sometime late in 2011 and will also keep the 50D.<br>

I currently have a 70-200 2.8 is.</p>

<p>I currently have a Canon 50D and will upgrade to a full frame body at some point. My question is I'm not sure on a purchase of a Canon EFS 17-55 f/2.8 is or a Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 .<br>

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.</p>

My problem is that I don't know if I need to get the version that has the image stabilizer.I use a Canon 50d.<br>
