It is in fact a Frank Gehry building. It is all stainless steel, the Blue and gold contrasts are created by the sky. This was shot very soon after daybreak.
Thank you very much for your comment.

Anonymous rates are of less value than rates from known sources!! Thanks.

Thank you for the wonderful comments; I was hoping to infer with the title that I see similarities in appearance between this tree and one of those “Plasma Ball” lamps that they sell in novelty shops but I think I missed the mark. Does anyone else see that within this shot?
Thanks again!

Nice shot! Your composition and over all concept are excellent. As far as your subject is concerned I think weeds are so much more interesting that run of the mill flowers, they can have so much character.

Wow what a great shot!! The choice of B&W and hand tinting was fabulous. 7’s to you!

Your choice of an extended DOF composition works very well in this situation; I think it helps to emphasize the ancient tower mixed with the modern bridge. Very nice!

Exquisite photo! The lighting and cropping are perfect. I wish I was there.

This is a fantastic shot, I love the way you have put the light pole in the shot parallel with the edges of the building. Excellent work!

Sadegh, PN tells me I cannot give you a seven because you have given me a seven within the past fourteen days, I will have to refrain from rating this image. It deserves no less than 7’s, excellent work. The lines bring you instantly to the top and that small amount of sky that you have on the left balances the window to the right perfectly. Thank you, Glenn

Thanks Jorge,
I had tried to put the entire reflection in the composition but it seemed to be too tall and thin or it had too much blank space on the sides. What would you have done as far as composition with more of the reflection in the image?
Thanks, Glenn

It certainly works for me, great shot.
