This is a great shot, well done, i took a similar shot of Detroit but was not lucky enough to get the lightning

Maybe i am missing something but i do not like this

1 - The large border is very distracting

2 - The boat and cat look too photoshopped

These things maybe fully intentional but not my thing!

 

However after looking at the rest of your portfolio i can see you are a very talented person.

Just in my opinion this is one does not do the rest of your portfolio justice.

great detail on highlights and shadows, did you post process this using HDR techniques....it reminds me of a guy that you to drink in the same bar as me....congrats on a great capture

I have tried sharpening up the original image in PS. That is what i love about the site....this made me go away and learn a technique i had never tried. I also added a simple border
