<p>Yes, It is... I'm not trying to beat a dead horse ,just looking for more help and info to get the right lens or what ever I need to do. Raw did help. But slows down my fps so that's not what I'm looking for.</p>

<p>Bear with me I'm new to Digital Photography. I'm using the D300 with a Nikon 18-200mm lens<br>

<p>I was shooting in jpg. tried Tiff now shooting in RAW.<br>
(I'm very new to Photography about six months in)</p>

<p>I replaced my sony alpha a350 with a Nikon D300. I can get the same clearity when editing that I had with the alpha. I know the lens may be a factor but is that realy it? they both have and had a 18-200mm lens. Does 1.9mp really make that much of a differance? Am I off base? Can I get the same or close to th same clearity with my D300. I miss the alpha's picture quality.</p>
