I really like the seperation of colors and the perspective. It feels a little cut off at the bottom though. I probably would have backed up or used a lower camera position to still retain the perspective but include the rest of the "gentleman".

Nice mood and feeling. It's a little murky and confusing to me in composition though. My eye gets a little confused.

I like this composition much better. All the positives from my critique on your other windmill shot apply here.(I didn't know this one existed when I commented on the other one).

Nice shot. Good use of depth of field. I might have cropped it down by about one flower on top. It's a challenge to get the depth of field you want in a macro and you've done a good job with it.

I agree that it's hard to tell from a scan about the DOF in this one. The proof will probably be in the printing. I like the exposure and tones but I'm a little lost on the composition. I wonder about that little bit of blade? sail? vane?, that angles away at the top. I might have cropped it a little closer on top for that. I do like that you've gone for a different view of a sometimes "postcard" subject.

I like the concept/idea of this shot. I think I would have liked more of the limb itself in focus. Just enough depth of field to bring the limb and grass in focus but still leave the backgorund a blur. I do like the composition and the format though.
