1.
Good Morning,
It's amazing how fast this forum fills up every Wednesday morning. Did anyone else participate in the Worldwide photowalk? My shot this week is one that I captured during said walk. I had a great time and met a bunch of great photographers. The walk also lit a fire under me to get a flikr page started for myself, Eric Blair so altogether its been a pretty great week for shooting.

00Wx73-263975784.thumb.JPG.260e273433e1fc7242dcd288bbc3ff42.JPG

 3.
Morning all!
Playing with high speed sync over the weekend. God, I love this camera, no need for pocket wizards (just yet) or an Su-800! My son was playing video games so I had an ideal subject. He barely moved an inch, I basically built the set around him. I see some really great shots this week.
some of my favorites so far:
Marc McCoy - I love the exposure. What was your shutter speed?
Melissa Papaj - What a great memorable moment, I'll bet they loved it.
Anish Mankuthel - Your work is always so impressive. this was a great exposure!
Bogdan Nicolescu - I love this old man of the sea.
Bal Soora - I love the light and shadow, great shot!
Paul Howard - Wow! That's sharp!

00WrUs-259985684.thumb.jpg.82af7c656d3febbbc8758fb2fb1583bf.jpg

 4.
Morning fellow Nikonians,
This thread has become the inspiration for my entire week! Today I have one more recently processed image from a beach trip last week. I wish I had some nice fireworks photos to show you but I just didn't get a single shot that I was proud of, oh well maybe next time.

00WolL-257775584.jpg.e27ef3435c0183cf194dc56ad058a4d8.jpg

 5.
Hi everybody!
I got to have a photo excursion to the beach recently. this one is a result of my first real foray into post processing. its probably overkill with the addition of the tilt-shift effect but I liked it at the time. Happy Wednesday.

00Wm4H-255863684.thumb.jpg.87d7289920cebf03a8218ec2e7b87677.jpg

 6.
Wow!
a lot of great stuff this week. Seems like I'm running behind on everything the past few days. I can't believe I forgot to post yesterday. I got this while I was downtown this weekend. I found a really great urban area. I hope to go back and get a lot more although on this shot i wish I'd spent more time tweaking the settings, it's a bit cropped and I've had to bump the contrast.

00Wjcd-254099584.jpg.8b3744c7e42f208775d18a5521abdea5.jpg

 7.
Hi all,

It's definitely been a while since I last posted but I've always followed this thread very closely every week. So much talent, I am humbled to be able to share my work with all of you.
Today's meager attempt is a duck I shot last weekend. I think of it as a bit of a milestone for me in that I am exploring manual mode more.

00W80h-233341584.jpg.757ba6d7e0da8398003a2dbb19a0ce17.jpg

 8.
Happy Wednesday everybody,
As usual the quality of submissions in this forum just continues to astound me. It's been a hectic couple of weeks for me and I haven't had any time to post. there's just nothing worse than having pictures to share and no time to post them. I wanted to process this shot a little better but I just haven't had the time so up it goes.

 9.
Computers giving me problems this week. I see a lot of high quality shots this week, too many to name (wish I had more time). Lil, that egret looks like he's tap dancing, great shot. Every time I think I'm getting better I come here and am so humbled, love this thread. Thank you Jose.
Cees- You have talent my friend, very impressive
Wow! Wound up being more than a few I guess. There are several others I wanted to point out but I'm running out of time here, guess I'll try to finish later in the week. Of course by then there will be five times more to comment on. Oh what a vicious circle...
I haven't quite finished processing my latest work from this week so I will have to submit one from a couple of weeks ago. I took this at a water park. I saw two streams colliding and it looked interesting so I tried to stop the action. upon reflection I wish I had increased the shutter speed. Shot @170mm, f16, 1/250sec and ISO200. Enjoy.

00UVC2-173129684.jpg.12c9ccab6e0527f9bfb7de968837e9d3.jpg

 11.
Definitely running behind this week. Here is an attempt at B/W. this was my daughters first amusement park ride along with her big brother trying to encourage her. I just loved the expression on her face.

00USUg-171633584.thumb.jpg.182464e1a64e9923d66bc2a5579e16f1.jpg
