1.
Thank you so much for the lenghtly reply chris, to be honest the reason I posted in here was because I wanted something similar to the trip but it dosn't necessarily have to be olympus. I really should go in to some more detail about what im looking for though. Basically I recently borrowed my freinds Yashica T5 and was really quite impressed with the photographs I got and im not refering to the detail so much (which is remarkable) but the situations I could capture with a discreet camera which no one takes too seriously! so I thought I should invest in a automatic point and shoot but as I am not particularly seeking high detail, im not interested in yashica, ricoh, contax, or leica but instead Im looking for something a little bit less serious if you will. For instance I started using an Agfa optima-parat (again it dosn't belong to me) which has auto exposure but you must focus by jugding the distance which I must admit, I really quite like because you can get some interesting results and I understand that the 'trip' has a similar system but the optima's highest speed is 200 (iso that is) and the trip is 400. The reason im not going for a modern point and shoot, such as the epic for instance is because the auto focus drives me crazy, too accurate, ha ha!

 2.
This might be a ridiculous question but does anyone know if there exists a camera not unlike the olympus trip 35 perhaps (automatic point and shoot with no batteries preferably) but that has a higher iso range, ie. above 400 to 1600 even.
cheers!
