1.
I just returned from a week in Yosemite last week. Stayed one night in Yosemite View, only because it was the only room I could get for a Saturday. I couldn't have stayed there for a week. It's clean enough, but needs a renovation. Big and crowded. I can only imagine what it will be later in Spring and Summer. The rest of the time we stayed at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. It's OK. Had problems with wi-fi in my room. Your basic motel room. Also in need of a renovation. The Food Court serves basic foods, but has fairly efficient throughput. Again, I can only imagine what it will be like later. The Mountain restaurant served a nice meal and offered good service. But there will be a wait. One night they didn't even use all the tables although there was a 30 minute wait. Drinks in the bar across from the restaurant are expensive...$14 for a martini. It is, however, centrally located to everything. We didn't see a snow flake all week..actually it was close to 60 degrees one day in the valley. The flow in the Falls was way below normal. We photographed what we could, but didn't get the best Yosemite can offer. the valley is beautiful, and the surrounding peaks impressive. I will return when I am assured of a real winter.

 2.
Seems like my first post didn't take. Apologize if this is a duplication.
I am spending four days in Bangkok in November , and am starting my research as to what to photograph ..... people, culture, temples, markets, etc. Any leads on web sites, local photographers, etc. would be appreciated.
Cheers,
3.
In Tanzania are you referring to the crater or the Serengetti? How restricted are the drivers in the Serengetti? Will they get off the trail to position the vehicle for the best shot / lighting situation?

 4.
I am 65 years old and have maybe 2 or 3 more African trips in me to get the wild life photos from Africa that I desire. I visited the Masai Mara many years ago, before I knew what to do with a camera. We returned from Namibia a week ago, and although the trip was great, it did not result in the kind of "game" / "the big five" photos that I want to take. So, if money and time are unlimited (right!), where would you recommend I travel to next? - Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa? I am looking for the open mouth hippo shot, the wildebeest migration, big cats hunting, leopard, etc. etc.
