Shot taken at a body paint festival during the final presentation of

the models. I orginally considered this picture lost due to

technical weaknesses, but I have tried to recover it. Let me know

During a short visit to Gdansk, and in between two showers, I was

lucky to get this shot of two ladies coming out of the shadow into

the sun while birds are in the air. No photoshop except for some

minor contrast and shadow detail improvements.

The atmosphere in this picture is simply excellent. The little girl has a look on her face that shows innocense and mystery. Similar to the Mona Lisa!

I like the atmosphere created by the sepia tone and the way the twins pop up against the dark background.

Taken at a performance of an artists on scene.

The performance starts with the performer having the balloon on his

head, it ends when he is completely inside the balloon in a foetus

shape while the air escapes from the balloon.

Technical conditions where extremely difficult and the quality of

this picture (or any other of this series) surely is not in the

technical perfection.

I must warn you though, that if you come to Flanders in the winter for let´s say a week or so, the chance that you will actually see these kind of sceneries is rather small (with snow I mean).

I often like infrared pictures because of the atmosphere they can generate. In this case, the road is a bit too black for my taste (I first thought is was a small river). A tree or another additional object on the left of the picture could have given it some more content. The sky is very good.

I would appreciate some more ratings and feedback on this picture. I

know I personally like it, but I would like to know how you (other

photographers) appreciate it. Share me your opinions. Thanks in

I´m sure you have thought about slightly rotating the picture to make the top part perfectly horizontal, and you did not. I would be interested in knowing your thinking on this.
