Hi,
I've got my first show next month at a local artwalk and I'd like to get some ideas on how to hang my work when there's no available wall space. Most of my work is on the smaller size (the largest frame is 10x13 but most are 5x7) and I need to show about 10-15 pieces. Any ideas or things you like to do?
Thanks.

For those of you who sell your work, how do you print your copyright on your work? Do you do it on the mat? The back of the photo? Write it out by hand? Have a stamp?
I'm printing some of my stuff at Target so I can't print my name on the back like I can at Adorama. But I was still thinking I should put a copyright and my name on there somewhere.

Hi,
I'm wondering if there is any software that will put borders on my jpegs before I send them to be printed? I'd like something just to put a bit of white or black or both around the photo. I know you can do it in photoshop but I don't have photoshop and would like a cheaper alternative.

Sometimes I set the white balance on my camera manually and I just use a piece of white paper and that works fine. I was looking at some of those white balance filters in the B&H catalog though and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? It looks like an easier way to set the WB.

Brian, do you literally mean to capture images of rain drops as they fall? Or are you thinking more broadly of capturing the effects of rain?

I'm talking about the rain as it is falling. Peter Meade's photo's are what I mean or the very last photo of the girl with the umbrella in this (http://www.photo.net/no-words-forum/00TAxw) thread. It looks like the longer faster lens is what would help. I was trying to use a flash to help freeze the rain but that didn't work. The rain always seems to the most visible under streetlights and the like so I think I would need to find the right location when it rains hard enough.

Anyone know how to or have successfully taken photos of rain? I'd love to see some examples if anyone out there does it.

What are your favorite places to get your photo's printed online? I need somewhere that wont crop or color correct my pics and have some good paper options.

Hi,
I'm wondering what you guys like to use for perspective control. I've been taking pictures of windows and buildings and I'd like them to be straight, rather then the tilting back look I get from pointing my camera up at them.
Photoshop is a little out of my budget so is there any other software tools that can help me do this?

How do you decide what to price your work at?
