1.
Hi
I am looking for a camera raw update that opens the D810 raw files, according to the table of versions for the D810 on adobe website, update 8.6 is the correct one, but I could not find the link to that version. Is there an update available for PS Elements please?
My current Elements version is 6.7.0.339, which was good for the D800, but is useless for D810 raw
Thanks
Simon.

  2.
Thanks Howard, it seems that you have to first save it at the required size then reopen to adjust exposure etc. I prefer NX2 as it allows to re-size and adjust before saving.

  3.
Thanks Sarah for your help :-)
I happen to have both a 580ex as well as an SB 900. Sometimes I use the SB900 through a soft box triggered from the 580ex flash. I just wondered if it is electrically compatible with the 5DIII since I never and most possible will never try it on the 5d, as you said its too risky.

  4.
Thanks all for your help.
Joe the rubber has ripped from more than one area. It works fine without the rubber grip, but I would prefer to have it on. I tried looking for at least a match from another model or even brand.

  5.
Hi,
I have a manual 35mm f1.4 nikkor that requires a replacement of the focus ring rubber grip, which is 20mm wide and 65mm diameter. Do you know where I can purchase a replacement please.

Thanks in advance

  6.
Hi,
Sometime ago I had asked if anyone has tried the 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII with a TC-20E III. But at that time there was only one. May I ask more opinions on this combination please.
Is it wiser to go for an 80-400mm instead, I would much prefere the first setup due to the 70-200mm's excellent capabilities (SWM, improved VR and optical improvements). But image quality comes first due to add ons.
I need the combo for bird shooting
Thanks in advance for your help

    D700

Thanks everyone for your help.
Shun
I read a review about the D700 and its advantages over DX format, such as better ISO, and better low light results, therefore I became interested in it. So I am asking users that have used it, and maybe they could highlight other advantages of it as an FX format over the DX. I thought its the best way to know more about it this way rather than from reviews.

You want to upgrade for the advantages of FX, and next ask what the advantages of FX are.

I only know of a few advantages in what I read, but don't know all other advantages that may be, that's why I asked.

    D700

I know of some advantages such as low light performance and better ISO performance. But wish to know more about it, ie what would I gain over DX.

    D700

I am thinking of purchasing a D700, I know that probably next year would see an upgrade. But as it is now its already an excellent DSLR, do I need a probably higher pixel count, it is said that its a great low light performer. I wish to move up from Cropped sensor to obtain FF advantages. Can you please help me highlighting the advantages. I am interested in macro, portraits and stills. For use with 24-70 f/2.8, 105mm and 70-200mm f2.8.
Thanks in advance.
