1.
hi,this is my first post, and was interested in some of the posts for software.I have a new never opened Aperture 2 software Package,I run PS c4. lightroom 2.5. nik software suite and onone plug in suite 4. Aperture was a gift which I think you would agree I do not need,it sells for around $198.00, I think, so if someone would like to make me a realistic offer they are welcome to it. Cheers.

 2.
Thanks for suggestion Andrew but my screen is not broken.I shoot mainly macro with bellows on a focusing rail and reversed lenses, a 90mm macro, and even 80mm lens with a 35 or 50 reversed on the 80mm so my problem is with focus as my depth of field can go as shallow as 1/20th of a mm on the higher magnifications and feel a bright matte screen would be better than standard on p3n and was looking for anyones suggestions on this subject, thanks anyway.ps, I have 3-4 other cameras including a Spotmatic with carl zeiss jenas and a Fuji s100fs which i use mainly for 1/1 and the option to shoot in Velvia simulation which is fantastic, plus of course a new K7 which I have not had time to work with yet.

 3.
Seeing as none of us on this Forum will be able to control global currencies or policy, let us reflect how lucky?smart we are to support Pentax.I have been a Photographer for 40 years now and owned Rollei Hass,Olympus,Nikon,Fuji both digital and Film. After all this time I suddenly realized what a lot of money I could have saved by getting into Pentax on day one.I am getting a K7 this week and have recently collected three film slrs plus a 50mm f 1.2,Tamron 90mm f2.5 aMeyer 60mm f2 and a set of auto bellows.I am set to Tackle anything knowing my equipment and lenses will not become obsolete .Canikon & Olympus bring out new bodies as often as some people change their socks and your present glass aint any good any more. the number of Pentax lenses that will fit on the K7 is staggering. No,not all of them have fancy focusing or even make coffee but they yield fantastic photographs. Which of the competitors can boast a 75mm f 1.2 portrait DSLR lens with awesome Bokeh?

 4.
steve, the best equipment for learning flash use on&off camera is a pen & notebook.use manual mode dial in aperture & ISo combinations & compare results.I personally prefer off camera manual, dial in ISO & aperture set speed to 180 keep speed constant for your test shots and compare notes with results using differing apertures & distances.I have just bought a new Metz 15-1 ringflash and is only auto with NIKON,CANON &OLYMPUS so I have no choice. Works great for Macro & Portraiture.
