<p>Kevin, I think I may have the same problem as you had. I'm wondering what the procedure was to send your lens back to Nikon. Did you call them to tell them the problem and then send it in? Did you have to describe the problem to them and then they fixed it? I'll probably take the steps you took to get the lens fixed since it's still under warranty =) TIA for any help Kevin.
