3.
Andrew, I probably am going to need another lens. A prime perhaps? 50mm ? Michael the need is for Archiving Some time back all I shot was slide film. I would like to view and print some of the better shots. Quality as good as I can get with in reason. These will be for my own use. I can clean up if need be. As far as printing It has been a while since I have viewed any of the slides. I have boxes and boxes of slides thats why speed could be important. I will look forward to what you find out about the different scanning options.

 4.
My question is has any one used a slide copier like this one. I wonder how the quality is? What would be the best kind of lens to attach it to ? I have a Epson V500 Photo scanner but I was thinking I could speed up the work flow with this type of scanner. My camera is K10d Lens are Pentax 50-200 Sigma DC 18-50 Ex Macro and Sigma 100-300mm APO DG F4 I am a frequent lurker here and respect the opinions of this forum. So thanks for any replies.

 5.
Remember the old saying: Going pro is the best way to ruin a perfectly good hobby. Miseree, that for me sums it up.

I am perfectly happy being a amateur. Even when self pressure says go out and take some pictures they suck. When I am inspired and in the mood keepers go up.
Hats off to those who are pros. I have been in business and I know what it takes.

 6.
Wire less remote. For taking a picture when you are a quite ways from your camera. I bought a Yong Nuo on E bay It is advertised at up to 300 ft. from the camera. I haven't tried it that far yet. I bought it for remote bird pictures. The instructions that came with it leave a little bit to be desired, but fooling around with it got it to work.

 7.
Steve, I really enjoyed you post. I have the same lens and is on my camera most of the time. The North shore is truly a place for photos. I have only been there in the winter once when I worked at Duluth for a few weeks. I would like to take a spring time trip on the North shore for photos of the waterfalls. If you don't like one drive on to the next. Those ore carriers are really big. I worked on building them and repairing them years ago in the shipyards at Sturgon Bay. Ahh your post does bring back a lot of memories.

 8.
Garry, I think you did a good job. You shot a series of shots that your client can pick from. The main point you made me want some of the pie. .... success...Steam might be a good idea but not needed. The only thing I would change is there is a white spot on the wine glass on all pictures that is distracting PS shop it out. I know you asked for advice but I think you client is happy. You could nit pick all day long but I think you have reach your objective. Making me want some pie..... I tell other Artists at some point your painting is done any thing more an you are just playing. There is no such thing as a perfect painting same with a photograph.
