Macro spiders make interesting photos, unfortunately there will most likely never be one in my portfolio as I do not get that close to them on purpose HA HA.

Thank you for the comment as well as the technical tips. I did not think about a more eye level perspective, I agree that I would have made a more interesting shot in this case. I do alot of eye level shots & I think I was "trying something different." I will crop & repost.

The wait paid off! Great color. I think the shadows in the pool make the reflection on the layer of ice stand out.

This was taken at a forest fire site. The bright orange color inside the

pinecone that had "exploded" jumped out of the surrounding ashes.

I happened to look down when leaving work today and found this

interesting sight. Water was running off the roof and freezing to

individual blades of grass.
