Thank you for your comments, Wolfgang!
In fact there was a lot of backlight. No wind at all, so the lake came out pretty quiet. Didn't have to do much in photoshop. Looking at your portfolio and your website, I noticed we are both working in the same style, with personal differences, of course. I liked 'Trees and shadows' and 'Winter III-colours' a lot. Pure poetry, imho.

Thanks Rashed. Your own portfolio impressed me. Especially your landscapes. All the best.

Mount Niesen in Switserland.

This photograph gives me the strong feeling of being there. In that field, in that fog, in that moment, in that atmosphere. Wet boots and the smell of moist green. Catching my fly in the river nearby.

A late comment, David, but never the less. I'm rather new at Photo.net and has to find my way around things here. This photo: the lines, forms and colors seems to have a happy marriage here. Everything fits in this silent natural composition. I like it very much. The Photographer has an eye for hidden beauty. Excuse my poor English, it is not my native language.
Good light,
Cees

A very balanced photograph, David. Not only the lines are well in place, also the few colors are very well exposed. I like the tiny bit of detail you can see at the head of the pole. A pleasure for the eye!
Kind regards,
Cees
