    Sony A100 and Sunpak Auto260 Flash Compatibility

    <p>I am using an A-350 and having the same problem If your sunpak will take one you might use a peanut and fire it with the on board flash It is rather ridiculous that Sony cant seem to make a hotshoe that works with pro gear if they want to have pro cameras .I have seen some Sony flashes that sell for the alpha series even need an adapter for the hot shoe and yes the price of that little block is outrageous.</p>

    <p>You could always go back to a manual film camera where you can set f-22 and hyperfocal.That is one of the things I miss most about pre A/F and digital cameras.Now the exact infinity mark is no longer used to corespond to the aperture size.I try to never shoot larger than f-16 when I have an infinity focus that will give all the DOF your lens can give.Of course an 8x10 at f-64 still has top honors for DOF.</p>
