I suspect from some of the comments that there are a few critics who haven't travelled much.

Mike, All in all a very pretty scene. Colours are well saturated without being gaudy and the shadows on the wall are not too deep. But a couple of things that I noticed. First, although I love the look of the cloud against the sky in the top right hand corner my eye keeps getting dragged to the bit of the neighbouring cottage that can be seen and leads me out of the picture. I think I'd sacrifice the sky and crop the picture to eliminate the cottage and its chimney.

The other thing is that although the perspective of the cottage may well be exactly as you viewed it, nevertheless it appears to be 'leaning' to the right. Again, I'd crop it and make sure the mortar joints in the stonework and the end of the building are absolutely vertical. It's disconcerting as it is and I believe would present better if those things could be tried.
