Handheld shot through bars and a cyclone fence in early morning at a
small zoo in the Paradise Village resort. I used a long lens...got
close to the fence and bars, tigers were on the other side of the
cage, shot wide open and the light from the morning sun was just
starting to come in...

SAFE!!!! Nice action shot! :)

Nice colors and good looking gals too :) Looks like they are having fun hamming it up! Maybe crop a little off the bottom (not too much though)?

Very nice, love the earthtones. I probably would crop it in just a little bit to get the distracting bit from the left corner out.

Yes, that is the flash of the light. It had just come on as the sun was setting.

I really love the composition! Something about the upper flower holding up the frame really makes this interesting for me. Well done!

Thanks for everyones comments! About the rule of 3rds, I felt the reflection was an important part of the image. When I would crop to get the grassline (actually wild rice, btw) at a 3rd it just didn't look right. However, you may notice the placement of the canoe is very near the intersection of a vertical and horizontal 3rd line. Maybe cropping just a tiny bit more off the bottom to bring the boat down in the frame just a bit more would help? I think a higher angle would have been the best bet though.

Thanks for the input, you may be right. My monitor is shared at home so the calibration may be off a little. I'll have to take a look on a second monitor.

Yes, I understood just fine!

Colors are pretty accurate (not ps'd in), some saturation was added and levels were adjusted which is pretty standard for my 10D workflow. Thanks for the comments!

I'm not usually a fan of cloud photos but the contrasts and colors
interested me this time. Thanks for any comments/critques!
