1.
I have read with interest the above contributions. These days I am using Fujifilm Quickload for the very first time. I have just a package of 20 Velvia 50 pouches. The problem is, that Fujifilm does not anymore sell these Quickload films. My question is, are those pouches in any way re-usable ? I mean, can I insert in an empty pouch a single unexposed 4x5 film sheet and can the clip at the bottom of the envelope be attached again ?
It would be just a pity to have wasted my purchase of the Quickload cartridge some months ago. The reason why I like to continue using it is light weight travel. I have a changing back which I could use to load the envelopes.
But, is it possible ?

 2.
Hi Jonathan Maloney ,
I own a couple of OM lenses, too. Originally only 2 lenses (f72.8 24mm and f/1.4 50mm) from my old film days with my OM-2. After purchasing a Canon EOS 5 D I have accumulated a rather huge collection of OM's.
The f/1.2 50mm is one of my favorite, just second to the f/2.0 100mm
Here is a sample (I think it was combined with a close-up lens):
It is the perfect portrait lens, sharp, beautiful bokeh, and what I like most is how it renders skin tones. This in particular is very important in portrait photography. The image above is a good example about this. In short, a lens which I intend to keep and will never sell.
4.
Thanks Rob for younice comment. I am not a native English speaker. Please excuse my occassional mistakes. Yes, I have truely an obsession for Olympus manuel lenses. The Zoom you emntioned is on top of my wish list. But it is very expensive. Have to wait a while. I wished that Olympus would have developed a Full Frame camera like the 5D. I doubt they will ever do that. I found out using manuel lenses is much more rewarding and also more fun. It really slows down the whole shooting procedure and make me more think about the motive and the composition. I am not in a hurry when taking photos. I only wish I could spend more time for my hobby.
All the best for you.
Rudi

 5.
Hi, I have just registered to photo.net. So this is my very first post here. I am a big Olympus fan since the very time Olympus had launched their OM system. I was using all those years an OM-2 with only two lenses: f/1.4 50mm and f/2.8 24mm. For two years I own a Canon 5D and about a year ago I have purchased an AF-confirm adapter for my only OM lens left over, the f/2.8 24mm (The 50mm had to many cleaning scratches ad some fungus, too). Within a years time I have accumalated quite a big Om Zuiko collection (last purchases were done in December 2008). I have created a special album on pbase to show images taken with these Zuikos. Since I have just started this, do not expect too much by now. But it will definitely grow over time. I am still looking at the macro equipment in the OM-system which I like to add (tube 65-116mm with some macro heads). For those who are interested in seeing images made with Zuiko lenses just follow the link:
http://www.pbase.com/rudiknust/olympus
